The course contents are individually customized, here some examples:
1 Variation-exercises on breathing, rhythm, motiv development, dynamic, articulation, tension and release, phrase length, pause length, consonance and dissonance.
Beginners of improvisation are able to gather first experiences through focussing on single details (e.g. dynamics) while using simple tone material. Advanced improvisors learn how to develop their improvisations more expressively, excitingly and consequently.
2 Practical exercises on harmony and scale theory.
The students learn how to use all common scales in their harmonical context, how to analyse pieces in different styles and how to improvise on cadences up to whole pieces.
